Andrey Damianov is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Black Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Justus Liebig University of Giessen, Germany. He is interested in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, and studying the assembly and the activities of macromolecular machines playing key roles in this process.
