Symposium Overview

UCLA-USC-Caltech Symposium “Nanotechnology Innovations in Cancer, Regenerative Medicine and Infectious Diseases” will be held on October 17–18, 2013.  This symposium is hosted by three major campuses in the Greater Los Angeles area: UCLA, USC, and Caltech.  Recently, dramatic developments have been made regarding the application of nanotechnology towards medical problems.  The use of nanomaterials in cancer therapy and detection, and in tissue engineering is rapidly increasing.  The meeting is intended to provide a forum to discuss these recent dramatic advances and to discuss future progress.  The symposium will take place in UCLA’s CNSI auditorium.  CNSI provides an ideal place for this gathering with a large auditorium and an adjoining lobby where the talks can be simultaneously broadcasted to people who would like to view them from the lobby
