Procedure
1) Incubate filter in 0.25 N NaOH, 1 mM EDTA for 10 minutes at room temperature; change stripping solution and incubate 10 minute longer at room temperature.
2) Neutralize the filter in 0.5 M Tris-Cl, pH 7.5, 1.5 M NaCl for 30-45 minutes.
3) Rinse briefly with 0.1x SSC
4) Expose overnight to confirm probe has been removed.
