MIMG Fall 2020 Undergraduate Research Remote Poster Symposium

Logistics
The remote poster symposium will take place on two online platforms: Padlet and Zoom. The Padlet will be available for viewing the posters all of the week of the symposium and Zoom will be used for live presentations and Q&A with the poster presenters during the scheduled symposium. There will be two sessions from 2-3pm and from 3-4pm.
Presenters will attend the Zoom for the whole session to listen to the other presenters and participate in Q&A. The Poster Symposium will be open to the UCLA community, and everyone is encouraged to invite people to the presentations.

Padlet
Padlet is a “digital wall” that allows us to display our posters. The Padlet is organized with a column for each poster, which contains the Title and Authors, Abstract, Poster PDF, and a short Video Abstract recorded by the presenter to introduce their work.
Visitors to the Padlet can post comments or questions about the posters by clicking on the (+) at the bottom of each column. Poster authors will respond to those questions by leaving comments on the posts. The link to the Padlet is here or use the QR code:

Zoom

Zoom will be used for live presentations and Q&A with the authors. Odd numbered posters will be in Breakout Rooms from 2-3pm and Even numbered posters will be from 3-4pm. Within the breakout rooms, each poster will have 20 minutes for presentation and Q/A. Presenters are welcome to join their Breakout Room early or stay after the session for additional Q&A.
• “A” Posters – 0:00-0:20
• “B” Posters – 0:20-0:40
• “C” Posters – 0:40-0:00
So: Poster 1B would present in Breakout Room 1 from 2:20-2:40pm.
